Embrace your creative thinking skills with poems, short stories, and script writing. Peer editing and critiques force students to push themselves in and outside of the traditional writing space.

Literary students write weekly blogs and produce audio podcasts syndicated to Apple Podcasts, Google, TuneIn, Spotify, Stitcher, and more. Students will obtain skills not seen in most high schools.

Once a month, literary students schedule a Coffee House, an open mic night for readings and performances. Coffee or hot chocolate is served, with refreshments.

Students can submit work to class-required or individual competitions, anywhere. Students also participate in publication opportunities such as the MSA Literary Phoenix Journal.
