Mississippi School of the Arts partnered with the Gloster Arts Project, a non-profit organization aimed at bringing arts education to rural communities in Mississippi. The organization’s goal this year is to spread arts awareness in Gloster (MS) and Brookhaven (MS), with two new locations in Centreville (MS) and Woodville (MS).
The Brookhaven camp will be held June 16 through June 27th.
Featured artists for this year’s camp includes Kelvyn Bell (guitarist and program coordinator) from St. Louis/New York, Jeremy Gaines (filmmaker) from New Orleans, A.H. Jerrod Avant (poet) from Longtown, MS, and Aaliyah Hudson (choreographer and dancer) from Fayette, MS.
