Jay Marion, a graduate of Mississippi School of the Arts in 2012, discovered his passion for dance and theatre during his time as a member of the Second Repertory Dance Company. Throughout his career, Jay has pursued various disciplines in dance, studying at The University of Southern Mississippi and Broadway Dance Center in New York City. In 2017, Jay joined The Walt Disney Company as part of their Spring college internship program as a Character Performer and quickly secured a full-time contract as a Parade Dancer in multiple shows across the Disney property. Currently, Jay can be seen showcasing his talent in Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Mickey’s Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom. Jay has also had the privilege of performing in the opening cast of Seaworld Orlando’s first parade, Sesame Street Party Parade, and has been a dancer for Universal Studios in various stage productions. Additionally, Jay has had the opportunity to perform with Insomniac Entertainment at the Electric Daisy Carnival and Forbidden Kingdom, both renowned dance festivals. When not dancing, Jay dedicates his time to teaching dance and choreographing stage shows for the Orlando Family Stage Youth Academy summer workshop intensives.
