Writing as a Ritual of Reclamation
This generative writing workshop explores ways to reclaim language as it intersects with asserting our authentic identities and stories while dismantling narratives of shame. Carlos will facilitate close readings of poems by Angel Nafis and José Olivarez and then guide participants through a structured prompt to write their own poems of reclamation.
