For the first time, Brookhaven High School’s ‘Ole Brook Singers’ are collaborating with the Mississippi School of the Arts’ Vocal Music Department to receive professional voice coaching and instruction. During the fall semester, students of Brookhaven High School (BHS) took vocal music classes at MSA due to the absence of a teacher. The Director of Vocal Music, Sarah Hamman, offered to teach BHS’ students on MSA’s campus. Tuesday’s concert will be a culmination of learning during the fall semester.
“Love’s Pure Light” Winter Concert
On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, both the MSA Chorale and BHS Choir will come together for a showcase not seen before by the Brookhaven community. Join us in Lampton Auditorium for this special event, beginning at 7:00pm (110 S. Jackson St. Brookhaven, MS). The event is free to attend (clear bag policy enforced). The event will also be streamed live on MSA’s social media channels.
