Senior ’23 Kameron Roach and junior Andrew Tran, both Media film students at Mississippi School of the Arts, recently received awards in the Mississippi High School Film Competition at the 2023 Tupelo Film Festival. The festival is aimed at recognizing professional and student filmmakers around Mississippi and the region. MSA Media has participated in the festival for several years. The festival not only includes feature screenings, but also opportunities for students to interact with filmmakers and producers.
Kameron Roach received 3rd place for a film titled “Going Green“. Kameron received a cash prize of $50.00 and a trophy.
Andrew Tran received 2nd place for a film titled “Egghead“. Andrew received a cash prize of $150 and a trophy.
