The Mississippi School of the Arts (MSA) students, staff and family with support also from the community, raised $1,000. To help the children of the Ukraine through “Save The Children”. The organization has been active in the Ukraine since 2014. The MSA Beta Club sold lapel pins to show support for the Ukraine. The Diversity Fair also contributed to the fund as did other fundraising efforts.
The donation was made in honor of MSA Visual student, Tatyana Baker from Gloster, Mississippi. Tatyana is a native of Ukraine who moved to the U.S. in 2019.
